Meet Our Chief Advisor
Timothy J. Wright
Committed to Excellence
Tim's commitment to excellence was shaped early in life by the people he admired most.
As a boy, he watched Michael Jordan in his prime and spent countless hours on the basketball court, determined to match the work ethic and competitive drive of his hero. That pursuit led him to become his middle school's leading scorer, averaging 21 points per game before ultimately stepping away from the sport as a teenager.
The person who influenced him most, however, was his father—a United States Marine Corps veteran who served as a sniper during the Vietnam War. Inspired by his father's example, Tim was determined to earn the title of Marine himself. As a high school senior, he convinced his guidance counselor and principal to allow him to complete enough credits during his first semester to graduate early so he could attend Marine Corps boot camp. They reluctantly agreed.
Tim graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego just two days before receiving his high school diploma, walking across the graduation stage in his Marine Corps dress blues. During his service, he qualified for Recon training, earned a Letter of Commendation, was named Marine of the Quarter at his command, received a Meritorious Promotion, and Honorable Discharge.
After his military service, Tim attended Grand Valley State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in History.
A Passion for Serving Others
While Tim originally planned to become a teacher, he soon realized his passion wasn't simply education—it was helping people make informed decisions that could change the course of their lives.
After college, he worked as an arborist while continuing to study business and personal finance. In 2008, he witnessed the financial crisis impact families across the country, including people close to him who had followed what they believed was sound financial advice only to see significant portions of their retirement savings disappear at the worst possible time.
Watching hardworking families face that reality reinforced something Tim already believed: people deserve honest guidance, thoughtful planning, and strategies designed to protect what matters most.
Tim first became a licensed Insurance Advisor in 2005 but quickly realized the organization he joined wasn't the right fit for the way he wanted to serve clients. In 2016, he learned that a mentor he had known since childhood was part of a principles-based organization committed to serving families with integrity. That discovery led him to renew his licensing and dedicate his career to helping individuals and families protect their loved ones, strengthen their financial future, and preserve the legacy they have worked so hard to build.
Serving Families Today
Since 2016, Tim has remained committed to helping clients make informed financial protection decisions with confidence. He continues to expand his knowledge of life insurance and retirement planning while working alongside some of the industry's most respected professionals to ensure his clients have access to the right expertise for their unique circumstances.
Whether helping a young family protect their future, seniors concerned about final expenses, preparing someone for retirement, or developing strategies to preserve generational wealth, Tim believes every client deserves honest advice, personal attention, and solutions built around their goals—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
The values that shaped Tim as a young athlete, a United States Marine, and a lifelong student continue to guide him and our organization today: integrity, discipline, service, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
